LittleRippers is a fun and exciting program that allows children to be introduced to the game of basketball. Basketball is a fantastic sport that can be played all year round, indoors or outdoors and you don’t even need a hoop!
The LittleRippers program uses a “game sense” approach where children learn basketball through playing lots of games and activities.
LittleRippers is for all boys and girls from 4-11 years of age and ALL abilities! This introduction to basketball program aims to teach children the fundamental skills and rules of the game. Players will have fun learning how to shoot, dribble and pass as they begin to play actual games of basketball.
Players are taught how to enjoy the sport and play the game fairly, simultaneously preparing them to join a team in one of our junior club competitions.
This program is delivered in school term blocks (approximately 8 weeks) on a Saturday morning starting on the 12th October 2024.
